Dave is fine for run of the mill repairs. However, when it comes to restorations, he is far too swamped with daily beaters. As a result, it takes him far too long to complete the tasks and is too distracted from giving it the attention it deserves. Prepare to wait for your restoration for 7, 8, or 9 months. Then, when you get it back, you discover he overlooked something crucial because he's too distracted. Do yourself a favor and find somebody else; you will save time and money.

This guy talked me into thinking he knew what he was doing with transmissions. I took my lexus to him paid over 4 grand for my transmission. He put it in backwards now 6 months later my lexus won't shift into 3rd gear and he refuses to fix my car even though he gave me a 4 year unlimited miles warranty. He's a joke and a rip off.

I was buying a car & trading in my van. Of course as soon as I have the $ and high enough credit score my van stops shifting gears. I call Dave in a panic. He told me to come right over. He looked at it as soon as I got there. I got lucky & it was just a code that had to be cleared. I had a leak & had fluid run to low. He charged me nothing! He also gave me great advice. He is a good, honest guy. Will be my go to for any transmission needs.
