RecommendedI highly recommend Dave's Transmission they are very professional needed a new transmission in my truck they got it done in a timely manner and they are so super nice.
I drove 40 minutes to take my car there only because multiple people recommended them to me and I was unsure of what I needed to fix my car but knew he would be honest with me (based on the people who recommended him to me). They were super friendly, he called me to let me know what needed done and what didn't need done, gave me prices, and went ahead and fixed me up! Just got my Pontiac Fiero back from them after 4 weeks. They put in a new clutch and slave cylinder and replaced the water pump--twice. They need to work their communication with the customer a little better. They did not let us know when they needed the parts or what parts were needed. They did not properly put coolant in the car. When I drove it home it overheated. They wanted me to drive the car back to them, but I did not want to do further damage. Dropped my car off Thursday for a clutch replacement, they called today while I was at work and said it was done, I paid with a card over the phone. Picked up the car and the clutch felt low, but it's new so I drove off. It's gotten worse since I picked it up to the point where I need both hands the get into reverse. They also either didn't tighten or didn't put a gasket back for my exhaust as it is loud as can be near the front of the car.
