Had a serious sensor issue making my van not start properly. Spent over $2500 elsewhere trying to fix various things, everything but my issue. Went to Dave's and I'm just blown away. He fixed it for less than $150. That's the best $150 I've paid yet on this van. I'm shocked literally. I have found my new mechanic!! I was terrified before this, I'm disabled and can't be stuck out there so this van is very important to me. I know of someone else with this same issue on the same van a year older than mine. 5 STARS!!! Wish I could give 10!! Love everyone at Dave's... Always so pleasant, and I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else!!
I had an engine code that indicated a very small evap leak. I changed the gas cap, no effect. Next step was to bring it in for a smoke test. I stopped in for an appointment but they took me right away as they had a cancellation. Dave told my husband and I that a smoke test doesn't always indicate a problem. He suggested changing the fuel leak detection pump. This solves 90% of evap issues (if it's not the gas cap). I wish I could give this place 10 STARS! I was recently traveling for a huge exam and I was experiencing car troubles. So of course, I was very anxious. I pulled over to Dave’s Autoworld and was met with such expertise, efficiency, and kindest—my anxiety was quickly washed away. They swiftly evaluated my car and came up with several plans and solutions for me. Their entire staff was wonderful and wouldn’t even allow me to pay for their evaluation of my car. An incredible experience!
