I was happy with their service for the 7-8 years I have been serviced by them. Hiwever, as time has gone on, I end up paying this charge here and that charge there. I can’t possibly get the amount of propane required for the tank fee to not be assessed. The reason why is that their delivery schedule is a complete mystery. I am a professional single. When I called the last several times? I am told the propane will be delivered within 2-10 business days. They call the night before after they are closed. They do not have a 24 h... read more

Davenport isn't able to provide my home propane needs due to their lack of appropriate delivery vehicles. After almost 20 years of being a customer, I will cancel my account. I have been without propane in my furnace for almost 2 weeks in below freezing temperatures. Davenport did deliver propane to me almost 2 weeks after I requested a refill. They even paid to have an icy section of my driveway cleared. I would ask that they use 4WD pickups to deliver smaller amounts of propane during extreme weather situations. I am glad ... read more

I can completely understand weather, to an extent, your in the business and up to you to figure out how to get gas to people when it's bad. What I can't get passed is being told differently by employees that work for the same company. Had I been told from the beginning the earliest I could reorder i wouldn't be without gas now. Always like supporting small local businesses but guess here's the issues you run into.
