Ray did a great job on my hair and beard. I like the atmosphere of the place. Friendly, approachable, good conversation. Easy, safe parking along Bryant Street or in the parking garage. 10 min drive or 5 min on Bart from Rockridge. Good location, near restaurants and other shops. Looking forward to returning.
Started going to Silver Fox Barber Co a few months ago since moving to Orinda - cut by James. Extremely happy with the cut and the service. James is a great guy and made me feel very comfortable. I’ll be coming back to James for as long as I live in the area from now on! Highly recommend.
James is a highly skilled barber with exceptional attention to detail. He takes his time, ensuring nothing feels rushed. I have Asian hair, and in the past many barbers have just relied on clippers, which left my hair looking flat and boxy. Silver Fox and Dave specifically are categorically best in class across services: haircut, beardtrim, shave, etc. He takes the time to consult with new and existing clients and has helped me navigate various hairstyles over the years. You won’t find anyone better, and more fairly priced for the service provided. Dave is very professional.
