They've really, REALLY stepped up here, since the main hospital across the street was flooded a month ago (I was actually recovering from surgery in that hospital during the flooding, and was promptly transferred to Brandon). Even while they obviously feel the immediate stress of that hospital's closure until next year for the most part, the intake staff is awesome, at least who I've dealt with before getting to see my actual doctor/surgeon on follow-up appointments. Review for Dr. vANA.Lstyne. Worst doctor I’ve visited. Here are three words to describe him as; DISMISSIVE, INCOMPETENT, and just overall RUDE. I had to ask to be prescribed something otherwise he was just going to send me off with my symptoms getting worse as the days went on (as I told him). The secretary who is replacing Courtney for Dr Bakers office is very unpleasant to speak with she's very rude. I do not recommend dealing with her. I believe her name is Kelti or Kelsey.
