Awake at the Gulf was very nice - right on the water. The pictures on the Dauphin Island Rental site accurately portray the space. It was very clean and comfortable. I wanted to give a 4.5 rating, only because we found the multitude of rugs to be hazardous. While, they are appealing from an esthetics standpoint, they proved to be serious tripping hazards for us.
