I would not recommend Daugherty Management as a property management company. While my experience started off positively—with responsive communication and initial support—the offboarding process was deeply disappointing. Without warning, DM terminated our agreement after my condo’s HOA introduced new short-term rental procedures. My wife and I and another couple rented a vacation home in Sagle Idaho this week. We started receiving text alerts on Wednesday and more on Thursday that the fire was getting closer and that evacuations were underway north of us. On Wednesday we could see huge plumes of smoke from the Sunset fire that was directly South of us (less than 10 miles away) and on Thursday we could see ash from the fire falling from the sky and collecting on the car and patio table. Renter beware! We rented unit 7-303 at Seasons at Sandpoint through Daughtery Management on April 29th for a 4 night stay starting June 10. The listing information for this unit stated “Rent standup paddle boards or kayaks from Daughtery Management and we’ll deliver them at no extra charge”. When we contacted them to rent paddle boards for our two children, we were told that theirs were not set up yet and they referred us to a company in town to rent from. Wonderful vacation rental. Beautiful home and location. Very clean and well appointed. Highly recommended!!
This house is gorgeous, clean, fully equipped, right on the mountain (short walk to ski on to slope, with ability to ski directly back home). Definitely recommend. Would stay again.
