After meeting with Dr. Dattanand Sudarshana, I realized that my previous neurologist wasn’t as effective as I once thought. Dr. Sudarshana took the time to explain all my medications and identified that the prescriptions from my former neurologist were actually working against me. I had my initial visit with Dr. Sudarshana yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. He was on time, listened intently to me, and had suggestions that made sense. He is one of the best doctors I have ever known.
Dr. Sudarshana took the time to actually show me the findings in my MRI, and explain his reasoning behind what he thinks the causal factors are. He briefly recommended I exercise until he learned how severe my PEM is, and then he switched course and recommended pacing, which is the only clinically tested treatment shown to treat ME/CFS. He also sent me an illustrative graph proving my point to myself, which I treasure.
