This team was absolutely incredible to work with! Super knowledgeable and wonderfully helpful! I would recommend using them for any Hard Drive problems that you have. They saved my skin, and about 6 years of work!
First of all, do not buy $60 hard drives on Amazon. Through Data Recovery Expert, I discovered it was a refurbished one from 2017 (I bought it in 2022). I was able to get 95% of my data back - corrupted files are still working though, so I can't complain (only minor things like images in PDFs look off). I went to Reddit for recommendations, and a thread from 3 years ago led me to their services.
I had a hard drive that was damaged, unable to read files, unresponsive. Their store is ACTUALLY the UPS store. You should contact them before hand and then you'll drop off your drive at the UPS store to ship off to their lab. There is another data recovery store right beside them and their front door says "Data Recovery Expert" but it is NOT the same company as this one. I want to express my sincere gratitude to this company for their exceptional work. I accidentally formatted my Sandisk memory card inside my Sony camera, and after running Disk Drill the card appeared completely empty. At that moment, I thought all my video files were gone forever. I had a hard-disk fail that contained of lot of my important data, most of which the Data Recovery Expert was able to recover within a week. I would recommemend using their services.
