Dr. Chen's office has knowingly violated the 2022 No Surprise Billing Act. They won't provide me with copies of my bills/statements after 3 months of asking, yet require payment at the time of the visit (illegal not to provide a copy of the bill upon request). They won't provide a $0 balance statement or receipt/payment ledger, even though I paid in full at every visit. Little wait time for us for a mid-afternoon appointment, knowledgeable, clear, calming bedside manner, courteous wait staff. I am big into reviews and give a lot of consideration to others' experience. I'm glad I heeded the suggestion of a HOAG ER doctor in this case. Dr. Chen went above and beyond in the care for our daughter. He serves from the heart and I will definitely return in the future for any ENT needs. I don't feel the reviews are consistent with our experience. I definitely recommend.

0 stars/DO NOT RECOMMEND. When you go, make sure you can pay for your deductible or a several hundred dollar deposit. Why? Because they will not verify insurance and also not notify patients ahead of time if there is a problem. What they will do is they yell at patients until they break down and unnecessarily pay literally hundreds of dollars and leave the office in tears. How do I know? This just happened to my daughter who recorded them. Hopefully, someone gets this office some customer service training. Yikes!
After seeing multiple ENTs at UCLA and UCI, I had finally sort of given up until one of my close friends recommended me to see Dr. Chen. She had much wonderful things to say about Dr. Chen after he had successfully treated her snoring issues. And I agree! After seeing him for a couple of months, I'm finally seeing some improvements in my sinus issues.
