I have been trying to get an appointment at dashwood house for over 5 weeks. Phone always busy line or get in a queue of ten only for the phone to get cut off when I get to 2 in the queue. Today I queued up outside the surgery for 20 minutes at 8am only to be told by a very abrupt receptionist at the door that this surgery has 'No Doctors on site' so why even stay as a operating surgery?The reason for no doctors here? They are doing private work in other areas whilst they are still claiming 80k salaries from the NHS disgusti... read more
Almost impossible to get seen at any useful time and can’t book appt without calling 8am on the dot on the day you need it. Reception staff will sit staring into space while you’re at the counter and only answer when they’re good and ready. Only thing earning the second star is that when you do finally get seen the dr is friendly. Edit: have upped to four stars because since changing system they use for booking appointments. Much easier now!
Update July 2025.... now when AI tells you that your minor injury is urgent the phone line is just on a loop saying make an appointment online. So its now impossible to make an appointment. Its as if they dont want patients. Whats the point of them even existing if you cant even speak to a person to be rejected. Dashwood at this point is a pointless joke. I guess I will have to wait till I have to call an ambulance and then tell them why am calling them for a simple back problem. Cus my surgery doesn't want to see its patien... read more
