Can’t believe they are closing this down and turning it into Italian food. We would make the drive from Airdrie consistently for dinner here. It always seemed packed and reservations were also consistent. This screams like a “ it’s not broken don’t fix it” situation. Have to say, myself and others are left scratching our heads on this one.

You must reserve a table if you don’t want to wait up to two hours, even when the restaurant looks empty. Service - poor. The food was brought to the table, but that was it. No water refills, no check-ins, and no dessert offered after the mains. Food - as mentioned in many reviews below, the flavours were lacking. The schnitzel was edible but not great quality. Great service and in a good location. If you are looking for authentic German food or even homestyle schnitzel, I would not recommend coming here. The meats are not a consistent thickness, breading and resting are off (no flavour, sweating, crumb is too coarse), and some of the flavours are just strange (too much nutmeg in the cabbage, parmesan with gravy). This place is closing soon and be converted to Italian cuisine so try the place before 1st week of Jan 2026. The sampler sausage platter is exceptional
