Randy and his team are very knowledgeable. They know everything there is to know about air cooled VWs and Porsches. They're the go-to shop for VW repair and restoration.
After years of less-than-great experiences, it's refreshing to get an honest appraisal of the state of our vehicle, a list of immediate needs, an idea of issues they see coming down the road, and low-pressure advice on how to handle things. Honesty is the bare minimum with these guys. The entire team takes pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the results.
I have not done business with them because I asked for a tow and a diagnostic. They wanted to charge me $275 for an 11 mile tow and $135 for a diagnostic. $410!!! Also, that is after they put me on their 2-3 month waiting list. Holy cow! Its a volkswagen beetle not a Ferrari.
