This place is why the phrase “when in pain, get on a plane” exists. 18 month wait list, not because they are booked out for 18 months, once you have a spot with them you can get an appointment in a week. They just don’t want new clients. You ask for a Thursday appointment, sure they’ll get you in on Wednesday. You want Wednesday? Sure, Monday it is. Also, expect to pay out the eyeballs. We have been visiting Darwin Children’s Clinic for 3 years now and we have always had a wonderful experience. We are grateful to Dr Martin for her help with our daughter. The nurse Susie is wonderful with children and very cheerful and the reception staff are always lovely both in person and on the phone. The waiting area has some great activities to keep the kids engaged while waiting and we love Timmy the turtle. Highly recommend
Have been referred to her by a GP regarding my childs mental disability. went through a private psychologist and have a report written just needs a paediatrician to sign off so we can get the support my child desperately needs, was told 12 months minimum before even getting in to see her. The receptionist couldn't have been more rude if she tried
