I am a frequent Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth ( CHaD)/Dartmouth Health Children’s patient and recently I had to be transported from my local ER to CHaD for emergency surgery. The place was clean, and bathrooms were clean. everyone was super nice to me and caring and made sure I got everything I needed and was comfortable and gave me a coloring book and markers to try to calm me down a little. Thank you so much ER staff, for all you do!
The 1 star reviews paint an outstanding representation of snarky patients and visitors. I'm a nurse elsewhere and have dealt with Karens of all kinds who have no understanding of how hospitals work. "Well why can't you just bring me back to a room?" If a plane is full you don't shove more in the aisle, do you?
I went here last night for abdomen pain and nausea, yes its a bit slow to get a room in the er but at least they are kind and hard working to figure everything out unlike vermont uvm medical hospital in burlington. They even put an iv in my arm as I didn't feel it go in, they are amazing people and if I ever have to go back to the hospital I'd gladly go here as they listen to you. God bless this hospital
