Long wait times. They overbook people. I was scheduled to be seen by the eye doctor at 9. I got seen more than an hour later not including the 15 min pre check in. Crazy wait times and then I overheard rep saying that they were seeing more than 250 patients today and only had 2 specialists!
I needed a gallbladder removal (7 months overdue from er referral from rrmc- yet rrmc wouldn't perform the surgery because no insurance after they pinched the duct against liver) Dartmouth had me in a room within a half hour. They gave me iv antibiotics to make surgery safe for 4 days before the knife. My night nurses were kind and thoughtful and the surgery was a huge success- I walked my 1st mile 4hrs after waking up. Now I can run again, lift more weight, eat mammal meat, I've gained 4pds back, I feel 1000x better. I just... read more
Not happy right now. I expect more from Dhmc. Had a knee revision today and all went well until it was time to go to my room as I am staying one night. Seems I am spending the night in pacu. Surgery has been planned for months but apparently no rooms. Had to pee and was brought a commode with no curtains pulled in the back adjoining nurses station. Actually peering with zero privacy where all could see me. No nurse has checked on me for 2 hours. No way to dim lights and husband is sitting in a hard chair next to my bed. No T... read more
Had an extremely bad visit as a first time patient to the specialty clinic. Your staff are completely unprofessional and rude. 1. I was told as a new patient to be there 30 minutes before my appointment for paperwork. I get there (I live an hour away btw) and theres no paperwork to do! Therefore I should of recieved a phone call telling me to just come at my appointment time! 2. In the middle of my intake my nurse stopped what she was doing to take a patient to an x-ray.
