Had an colonoscopy done Dr Rudaman couldn't finish so said she would see me in six months. She told me at the hospital that she didn't remember me almost dying from a blockage last year. I was in pain after the colonoscopy so went to my primary to have them do an CT scan which showed my colon was pushed into a large hernia. I'm having surgery the 20th and won't be going back to Dr Rudaman.
Dr Meyer in gastroenterology at DH Manchester is the absolute best doctor I’ve ever had. She’s kind, excellent bedside manner, very thorough, amazing follow-up and preventative care. I recommend her 100% and trust her beyond belief. I highly recommend utilizing the messaging system in your account (MyChart), she’s amazingly responsive, even at 10pm! Can’t say enough good about her, I’ve been seeing her for well over 5 years now.
When I first started seeing Dr. Meyer here a year ago, things were great. Since then I feel like my level of care has been in steady decline. Very difficult or impossible to get in touch with Doctor, nobody has been able to answer questions I've needed the doctor to answer, and communication is absolutely all over the place. I hope it gets better, because my only other option is going to be like Mass General or something.
Have been trying to reach my doctor and finally after 45 minutes on hold and hung up. Sent a message through my portal 5 days ago and no response from anyone. You really need to improve your call center or have an option where they take your phone number and return your call. Very frustrating
I had a colonoscopy scheduled months in advance. The referral was made by the gastro department. I get a call two days before my scheduled procedure, saying that I need a new referral from my pcp. I don’t have a pcp at the clinic bc the last one I had quit, and no one informed me until I showed up for a physical that day. They know I don’t have a pcp, yet they expect me to get a referral from one two days before my procedure.
