All I have to say is it take one negative experience to change your whole thought process on a OB clinic. Halfway done with my pregnancy and am thinking about going somewhere else. I had switched to Dartmouth Hitchcock from a different practice halfway through my pregnancy and am so glad I did. I just gave birth with DH’s providers at the Elliot and it was wonderful. What started as scary preterm labor and preeclampsia turned into a magical experience and I owe it to their team. They respected my desired birth plan and did their best to make it happen despite the complications. This place is garbage, the worst mistake of my life was bringing my wife to this place, there is always a different doctor attending and they always have different opinions, everything is a problem, always for everything they gave us the delivery date when we have everything ready, even family from other countries traveled, they changed the delivery date because another doctor who had never treated us gave another stupid opinion, in short, this place is useless, it is better to have your children at home than with any of the... read more
An awful experience overall. It started with them not having my medical records, continued with the doctor being dismissive of my concern regarding long-term use of birth control to manage my PCOS, and it just went downhill from there. At this point, I'm too old to deal with such negative behavior. I decided to space out and respond only when spoken to because, evidently, my input wasn't valuable enough. Once the appointment ended, I left without scheduling a follow-up. I'm most definitely NEVER coming back here again.
