etown darenkamps is a nightmare. terrible service, outrageous prices.
It was quite disturbing to go into their market in Mt. Joy. I was shocked to see wall to wall coverings with booze. These people are supposed to be Christians? We all know it is because of money and I wonder how many others are feeling the same way? What a poor image and witnessing to the world. It just promotes those who are alcoholics to come in and buy from Darrenkamps at a cheaper price. If we are Christians we must stand on the word of God and not the world. Darrenkamps in Elizabethtown is a great store to go to. The staff is always friendly, and prices are pretty reasonable. I especially like to go there for my meats and the deli. The things in the deli are a lot cheaper the in the deli at Giant. You can call the meat department to order meats. And Chuck (the meat manager) always makes sure to get you what you need. The people at the checkout are also kind and friendly. And for the most part give good service with a smile.
First time I had shopped here. I fell in love with the prices, especially in the meat department. My husband fell in love with the blueberry milk! The staff was very helpful and courteous. I will definitely be shopping here again. It's worth the drive for the savings!
Darrenkamps in Etown is always great, but today was exceptional. First, I went to the deli and the associate was pleasant as always. I told her that we didn't like one kind of lunch meat so she suggested a different brand, then allowed my son to taste some(which he really liked and we bought some). Then, at the meat counter there wasn't any of the particular hamburger I wanted. The gentleman working offered to go in the back and cut me some-even though I only needed 3 patties.
