This place charged me $3000 to fix the rear breaks on my truck. They had to remove the rear differential cover to do it. Now the rear differential cover leaks. They wanted $650 to fix it. I said no. Then they charged me $90 just to get my truck back without doing any work on it. Update: this issue has been resolved.
I will not buy my next car being a Darlings car that I would need to do business with. They fail on many levels, and are totally incompetent.
took my wife in for an oil change on her 2023 vw tiguan on Sat. may 3. when we dropped off we asked how long it would be. the advisor told me his guys would be taking lunch in the middle of the appointment and id have to wait 2 hours. 2 hours for an oil change only? if it was my car that's where the appt would have ended, but we said yes. I went to the Bangor location for a recall appointment. I asked them to inspect my car while I was there. The service person came back and told me that my car hadn’t passed inspection because my rear passenger tire was bald and because my front and back breaks needed to be replaced as well as new rotors. The tab - $1300. I told them I was going to get an estimate from another shop. I went to VIP in Ellsworth. I had a tire so I brought it with me.
