I went to the Bangor location for a recall appointment. I asked them to inspect my car while I was there. The service person came back and told me that my car hadn’t passed inspection because my rear passenger tire was bald and because my front and back breaks needed to be replaced as well as new rotors. The tab - $1300. I told them I was going to get an estimate from another shop. I went to VIP in Ellsworth. I had a tire so I brought it with me. *Update below* Had my truck with clear instruction for almost 2 months for work that shouldn't take 2 weeks. Trying to charge me for diagnostic work in the form of a vehicle inspection and test drive that found no issues though there are plenty I'm aware of. On hold for 15 minutes at a time and no call backs when requested. If this ridiculous situation is fixed I'll update the review. But until then stay far away, even if it's warrantied, take it somewhere else. Update: Picked up my truck and there is a new exhaust leak, I'l... read more

I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a used car from Darlings used car dealership in Bangor Maine. Petter Bradshaw was my sales person. I must say, it has been an absolute nightmare dealing with this dealership, and management. From the beginning, I noticed several issues with the vehicle that I brought to their attention.
