Late this past fall 2022, I was notified by the water district (KKWWD) that my house in Wells appeared to be using water at an increased rate. I had one of their technicians come out to my property and we narrowed it down to a leak in my water line. Now mind you, my house was built in the 1960’s about 75 yards down off of Rt 1 which meant my water line was 75 yards long. They could not determine where the leak was, we shut off the water and I was advised to hire an excavator to dig up the line to trace the leak. Never having... read more
