I paid $120+tip for a cut by Tony. I have 2a/2b hair, so slightly wavy but leaning towards straight. Even through the price includes a wash and style according to the website, Tony insisted on a dry cut because its better for curly hair (I wish I had curly hair but thats not my reality), and he didn't style it at all. I love this place! The space is full of natural light, quirky art, and has a mellow vibe. Jonah June cuts my hair and they are a wiz with short hair. I haven’t worked with the other people there but they all seem attentive, kind and stylish. An update: I have also worked with Tony and he is also really great with short hair. Plenty of great options and good people!

My hair stylist of 14 years moved out of state, so I have been on a search for a new salon. I loved the reviews of Darling Electric and made an appointment with Tony to see if we could do something fun with my boring, shoulder-length bob. Jonah June cuts my hair with a razor. It gives my hair movement and body. She listens to what I want and is a delight to work with. Darling Salon has a gem.
