The Dark Moon Chalet was the perfect backdrop for my 39th birthday weekend. We had a full house—including my mother, wife, brother, best friends, a 3-year-old, and two dogs—and the space accommodated us all beautifully. We loved the location; it’s only a 4-minute drive to Lake Cuyamaca, where we enjoyed a family hike and some playground tag with my nephew. I cannot get over how beautiful and amazing this place is. Everything you need works perfect and is high end, not like some other air bnbs. Breathtaking views and an amazing hot tub! Location is fantastic 14 minutes from Julian and short walk down to the lake. The hosts were extremely responsive for any questions I had and the check in check out process was amazing. It also helped that they had an electric car charger installed too! They thought of everything!!!
Loved our stay at the cabin!! My guests and I kept saying over and over that this was one of the nicest most beautiful places we have ever rented. The details of the entire home were exquisite and you can see how much love the host poured to make their place comfortable. We loved all the amenity’s including the hot tub!! Dogs are welcome and as you can see, our fur baby was so relaxed! They even have a little nook upstairs with a dog bed and bowls. We had an incredible stay at the Dark Moon Chalet. The cabin and view are gorgeous and it just has so many special touches. The cedar hot tub is an absolute highlight and the kitchen has everything you need to make full meals (and an awesome espresso machine). Truly the perfect getaway for our girls trip! Aubrey is a great host and makes sure that your experience is perfect. Highly recommend!
