They were hired to replace exterior siding wood and to seal/ paint it. They used silicon caulking that the paint does not stick too. the paint all peeled wherever there is a caulked nail or seam. I had to dig it all out and re-caulk it with latex and then repaint it. They also did not put any primer on the wood and that peeled as well. I had to scrape it, prime and repaint it.
Very bad experience didn’t finish the job used very cheap material didn’t show up for months the workers was the worst left everything unfinished in bad conditions i had to get new contractors in they are good don’t hire this company you will be so disappointed in you will get screwed save yourself the headache i update before in afternoon photos soon.
So, Austin technically has not done any work for me, however, he was very generous in giving me his expert opinion and his time to talk through best flooring options through multiple phone calls. Then, he even came by our house to look at flooring types to help me feel good about our choices (as a kindness, not for payment). He proved his expertise and for sure passes the test of character!
We did a good size flooring job for dark horse construction and it took them 9 or 10 weeks to pay us then we end up doing another job 4 and a half months later and we still haven't gotten paid no response from them...keep getting the run around and they won't answer their phone I wouldn't let these guys build a dog house for me… and every job we did do form their quality was subpar at best
I had Dark Horse build my new deck as well as add an addition to my home at a later date. Austin was extremely personable and accommodating when I spoke with him. Donnie then spearheaded the work for both of my projects and he was very friendly and informative. The crew were all really nice and skilled as well. Thanks guys!
