Darien Sport Shop Just went into the store for the first time because I received a Groupon. Loved the store! Great selections and the staff was friendly and very helpful!
beatrice this place is the biggest rip off. there is no Cafe, they are way over priced and the staff is very uptight..you must be dressed corectly to enter this store.. they have changed there inventory to a less expensive mode to try to get business because it is failing but they are still charging more then they should.
Darien Sport Shop is Prepalicious! Darien Sport Shop is a landmark in Darien. It's got to be the preppiest store on the planet...but that's o.k. They have good service and carry all the essentials necessary to live in Darien. Sport coats, cosmetics, athletic and outdoor sports equipment, fragrances. They carry All the preppy brands...vineyard vines, ralph lauren...to Patagonia, north face. It's a unique store and it's always fun to stop in.
Pricy The Darien Sport shop employs their own family. This creates their attitude to be one that shows that they want you to know they have the moeny to not be working. They are pricy, but there items are in very good taste.
Darien Sport Shop Great store for designer duds to shoes and handbags. They also have a lot of local CT Merchandise as well. Very pricey but thats to be expected in Darien. I have always found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Huge parking lot, very easy to find in downtown. Big store with 3 different levels, also has a little cafe to get lunch in. I will continue to shop here for years to come.
