Nice Muslim chinese food... – Its nice. The prices are reasonable, and food is pretty good. Since this is one of the few Muslim Chinese places left in the bay area, there aren't too many choices. Service there is worse than usual, just try to be calm while ordering. When I went, it was pretty busy, so that didn't help the service.. Good northern style chinese food – We ordered the stir fried noodles, dumplings and sesame bread. The seasame green onion bread is okay, I wish it had more green onion flavor. The stir fried noodles were tasty, but my favorite are the dumplings. Ambiance and service are good, and prices are okay, about $10 a person, definitely a good value.
FANTASTIC SESAME BREAD!!! – We found out about Darda's from the Chinese Islamic Restaurant in southern California. Although it is not a vegetarian restaurant they have several veggie dishes that are delicious.....eggplant, fried tofu, veggie pie, steamed veggie dumplings, Chiinese "donuts" and soy milk (only on weekends), etc. The place is always VERY busy and crowded.
