I was very disappointed with my experience at Darcy Road Pharmacy, in the Coles building on the ground floor. My GP advised me to take Telfast 180 mg, but the pharmacist gave me Loratadine 10 mg and told me that they were the same medicine, just different brands. As I was feeling very sick, I took the first dose immeadiatly from my car. The next day, when I was about to take the second dose, I noticed that the medication was actually different. I was charged $82.95 for maltofer 370mg 100 tab. I usually buy it for $54 from other chemists. They charge excess for what you would pay from other pharmacies. They don’t advise you of the price so you would think it’s just the same price as everywhere else. It’s deceptive.

This store is a complete rip off. Can’t believe they can charge $16 for normal maxigesic tablets - a combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen which is $9 in chemist warehouse. Not sure how much they would be charging from older people who doesn’t know anything about. Avoid this shop please. Very sad and disappointing.
