I was charged $82.95 for maltofer 370mg 100 tab. I usually buy it for $54 from other chemists. They charge excess for what you would pay from other pharmacies. They don’t advise you of the price so you would think it’s just the same price as everywhere else. It’s deceptive.
This store is a complete rip off. Can’t believe they can charge $16 for normal maxigesic tablets - a combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen which is $9 in chemist warehouse. Not sure how much they would be charging from older people who doesn’t know anything about. Avoid this shop please. Very sad and disappointing.
This is one of the worst pharmacies they seem focused on overcharging customers. Before buying anything, compare prices with Chemist Warehouse; even for basic over-the-counter medicines, their prices here can easily be double. When we’re unwell, we tend to focus on getting better and don’t think about cost or comparing prices. This pharmacy is taking advantage of this.
