Took my car in to ask if they could check a knocking at the back. Couldn’t be more helpful so refreshing to deal with a proper old fashioned garage with customer service top of their priority. Thoroughly recommend.
This wonderful Garage mechanic GARETH saved our bacon !! When our van broke down in torrential rain and with our three dogs in the back Gareth came to our rescue ! He was due to finish work in twenty minutes but instead he reassured us he would do his best to get us mobile again as we were due to go home to Hampshire the next day! This man went the extra mile and did a temporary fix so that we made it home! We will never forget his kindness of this man.
We’ve heard a really loud squeaky noise that came from one of the wheels. Brakes looked fine, car didn’t show any issues, but it was very concerning as we still had over 200 miles to go back home. This garage helped immediately. Waited maybe 10min, he took the wheel off and it was only a stone that got stuck. 🥲 Very friendly, helpful and gave some good advice what kind of fuel is the best for our car. Thank you! ☺️ FYI we kept the stone
My wife had a tyre blow out on a quiet country lane. We weren't customers of Darcroft as we had recently moved into the area but we had seen the garage from passing on the A30. We rang the garage and spoke to David. It was Friday afternoon and too late to order a replacement, so we were potentially having to call the recovery service and drop the car off at the garage until Monday morning. Pulled into the garage just before closing time with a seized caliper. Gareth managed to free the caliper up enough for me to get the car safely home over 4 hours away, and I booked it into a local garage the next day. Thank you very much Gareth, we really appreciated it. Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
