I brought my Kia K5 in for a safety recall. Long story short the customer service in terms of communication is subpar (present tense because my car is still on the shop). Brought my 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid in for a “Check Hybrid System” issue and was told it would take 2–3 days. It’s been a week and I haven’t received a single update or returned call. No loaner car offered, no communication at all. Very poor customer service — I expected better from this dealership.
If I could give negative stars I would. I authorized a diagnostic test of $180. I had a conversation w service receptionist India about purchasing and getting the part (alternator) and bringing it to them to install it. At no point did they let me know I would be charged for the labor of them taking out the part. They gave me no hint about the price of that labor or else I wouldve refused that service. (Summary: This shop returned my car with major safety issues, overlooked serious transmission damage, and then tried to charge me $1,200 for something that should’ve been fixed from the start.)
