very good, real Chinese food. They have an Americanized menu too for the less adventurous which is nice.
Cabbage salad was exceptional.
Dao is the standard when I compare other Chinese restaurants. I consider this very authentic Chinese food with ample “Americanized Chinese food” options. The owner is very nice and food is always prepared well and is fresh. In my humble opinion, they make the best green beans in the city. Popular opinion include three peppers chicken and a close friend loves their General Tso’s chicken. Service has always been attentive and these are the reasons I frequent this at least twice monthly.
My husband and I lived in Corpus and we moved recently and still miss their shredded spicy duck dish. I brought my parents there when they visited and they loved it as well. I’m currently pregnant and I hope whoever comes here gets their spicy duck since I cannot anymore. My kids loved their fried rice, and I also enjoyed a lot of their other dishes, even the vegan options.
