Dr. Stankiewicz was my pcp for about a year. After having almost all of my visits consist of my attempt to bring up my issues and address my health problems being brought back to my weight (which was CAUSED BY MY MEDICAL ISSUES NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND) and being literally told upon explaining to her that i was not able to control when or how i eat due to an abusive situation, which i fully explained as abusive, that i was "still in control of what i put in my mouth". it was extremely disheartening and invalidating to hear t... read more
I never write reviews, but this was the worst healthcare experience I've had, and I work in the healthcare field. Dr. Stankieweicz was dismissive, abrupt, and abrasive. She was also condescending in her approach, and put her hands up and said "I wish I could waive a magic wand and find out what's going on, but I just can't." At the very least, she could have ordered labs or even spent 5 minutes chatting with me. Awful.
What a great doctor! Just got on tele health with her and she could not have been nicer! There was even some confusion with the application and she still made time for me!!!! Would recommend to anyone!
Dr Stankiewic was the best and I miss her. I wish her much success in her next chapter, she is missed.
