Just transitioned from Medstar Oncologist Hematologist Dr. Chhabra to Maryland Oncologist Hematologist Dr. Danubia Hester, M.D. and had an exceptionally better experience with detailed understanding & explanation of my current “Indolent” Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) condition that I was never able to get from Medstar Dr. Chhabra who I had a very negative experience working with previously.
Dr Hester is amazing! She really cares about her patients and takes the time necessary to address all your concerns. She takes the time to listen and understand. I love the way she reviews your chart with you and explains any wording that you may not understand or test results that you may not be too keen on how this affects you health wise. Dr Hester is a diamond in the rough. You’d be crazy not to choose her as your doctor. .
Every part of my appointment went smoothly. The staff was friendly and the doctor was on time. She also listened to my concerns.
