Best Dining Experience in NH – Amazing authentic Italian food, great drinks, and a unique dining experience. From the upscale dining room to the dress down pub, it's a relaxing place for any occasion. Dante's should definitely be added to your list to experience if you're passing through. Will NEVER Go Again! – Horrible service! I have tried this restaurant several times hoping that I will enjoy a meal there, but have been disappointed time after time. I will never eat there again! My husband and I sat in the bar area for 20 minutes with absolutely no greeting from any of the passing wait staff. The owner was behind the bar, saw us sitting there and made no attempt to see if we were being helped. Unbelievable! The food is ok.
Doesn't even deserve one star~ – Wow! What an experience!! And not a good one!! Yes the food was good but we shouldn't have waited an hour and a half from the time the appetizer was served until the food was served. People arrived and left in the time we were just waiting for the meal to be served. I spoke with Dante. He made many excuses but in the end it didn't matter. Our meal should have been comped. Slow and bland – I have given Dante's my business 3 times, and never again 3 strikes and you are OUT. All three times the service was very, very slow and the food was bland, pasta over cooked, and just over all disappointing. The most recent and my last visit ever, my wife and I arrived at 5:00 on a Saturday. We were seated right away and the restaurant was half empty. What I believe to be a trully Italian dining experience. – Dante's is an italian restaurant that leaves the sheeps tongue out of it's authenticity without throwing out the spicyness, or toning down the flavor of the menu for the wider acceptance of the crowd. They have the wines, and the food all year round, but I believe that the best time to visit them is in the outdoor season, when you can eat outside in what I would think is the best representation of summer dining would be in smallville Italy.
Always wonderful! – It is the perfect pick when you want great italian food and wine without the crowds and parking issues of Portsmouth or Dover. However, we always come here not only for convience but because the food, service and ambience has always impressed us far more then other local Italian establishments. Highly recommended.
