Polyurethane adhesive under lid, not food grade.
Within 2 months the switch on the pump became very touchy, often not turning on at all. I checked in to sending it back under warranty. It was going to be gone a while. So before shipping it off I spent the money for a second pump. Once it arrived I shipped the first pump back for repair. I had to assure the owner repeatedly in the phone that I was NOT using an extension cord. Read the customer reviews for this company. These people are the worse to deal with. Buyer beware!!! If you have this product you are on your own. I personally spoke to Dan and his wife and they hung up with me about a simple question about a part.
Fantastic product. So easy to use and clean !!!
A good idea let down by poor customer service and ultimately poor quality components which I have had to replace after 12 months
