I bought a “new” scooter here and it’s been nothing but a pain, with all the issues I’ve had with it. Dan is really nice to work with through the buying process, but then when it comes to standing behind his products it’s a whole different story. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!
Dan's mopeds is a scam shop. Brought a moped in there that they said they would be happy to work on. Told them I didn't want to put anything into it, just see if you can find a battery because it wouldn't start. 4 days later I receive a call saying they can't find a battery and I should pretty much junk it. Charged me $40 and then forgot to give me the chain guard after I picked it up. Now I have to pick that up.
don't buy from Dan, he does not stand behind his products. We bought a 2009 scooter and after 40 days and 130 miles, it won't start and he won't make it right and fix it without charging us over 100 dollars. He says that he is sorry that we feel that way.... can you believe it!! Own up!!
Dan's Mopeds is a great place to get great and accurate information on how to fix your equipment. Great person to person interaction and great service in every way. I would deffenetly suggest anyone needing repair or just guidence to have thier equipment repaired to got to Dan's Mopeds. It is also very easy to find.
