The shop always has a long list of jobs in the queue. I bought a bar height bench from Art Van. In 4 months the cush factor was zip by the end of the meal. Dan recovered it, provided superior foam & leather - it's still 5 star cush 6 years later. Bring him anything. You won't be disappointed. Just be patient. It's worth the wait.
Same experience. Dropped off 2 chairs and a deposit in April; in last month hasn't returned a phone call or text. Not just unethical - looks like he's operating some type of scam.
I dropped off an antique family heirloom with Dan on April 23, 2019 to be reupholstered. As requested, I paid up front… Dumb, I know...and have not seen Dan nor my chair, fabric, trim, hardware or money again. I have called and texted repeatedly to no avail. He is not honest or ethical and I wouldn’t even give one star but I’m required to by Google. I plan to reach out to a lawyer for assistance with this matter, as I have no other recourse.
