Do not use Dan to fix any boat he will waste your time. I called clearly explaining I wanted my pontoon de winterized and tuned up . I towed it all the way to him , without even diagnosing it he said he didn’t have time to work on it . Really disappointing customer service . Stay away from this shady business.
Dan put a starter on my boat last summer. Over 400 dollars. Boat went into shed for the winter. Second time out this year starter went out. Was working fine then out on the lake the solenoid would spin but not kick the drive in. Contacted Dan and said it would be a week before he could look at it. After I dropped it off he messaged me and said it was water damage and he didn't have time to look at it. Said he was going to put it out in the parking area. It sat outside there for a week. Dan is a great boat mechanic and very good at communicating the issues so a layman can understand what is going on. He is prompt, courteous and professional. He has worked on several boats for me in the past and they are all still running strong. I would highly recommend Dan’s boat repairs for anyone needing a boat motor serviced. Another plus is he will come to you!
