I’m floored that any business thinks a markup of 287% to 1,643% on a single part is okay. Dan’s Auto Service & Tire charged me $69.73 each for caliper bolt pins that retail for $4–$18. That’s not just a markup — that’s highway robbery without leaving the parking lot. Labor for the whole job was only $100, so clearly the profit is in the parts. I’d much rather pay fair labor costs than see a 1,000%+ markup on basic hardware. This experience was disappointing.
On my way back home from St. Louis I had a slow leak in my tire and couldn’t find anyone to get me in. I pulled up to Dan’s auto shop and the three friendliest men ever walked in and we’re willing to help me with no questions! I would recommend this place to anyone!
The single best mechanic I have ever worked with. Really top notch customer service, honest, reliable, reasonable prices, quick turn around. After having several negative experiences with other mechanics it’s so refreshing to find such a good shop.
Fantastic customer service, professional work. Brought in my 1996 Mazda Miata for state inspection and a front axle alignment. Vehicle was treated with care, and the new alignment feels incredible. The team was great to work with, and seemed to genuinely care about doing a good job. Thanks guys!
Dans is one in million for any auto repair, as a young girl I’ve been taken advantage at dealerships, Dan’s is the only trustworthy place I have ever taken my car. They take care of me like their own, if any business deserves recognition it’s Dan’s!
