Have been there many times. They always do a great job at a reasonable price. Two things stand out for me Brought my vehicle in for coolant leak and Dan discovered a loose clamp. 10 minute fix and he said no charge. Another time I brought in a vehicle that had major issues. He said he could repair it but would be very expensive. In his opinion not worth the money. I have to be impressed by his honesty to not just take my money.
**Avoid Dan’s Shop at All Costs.** I’ve tried supporting local businesses, which is why I brought my car to Dan’s a couple of times. Big mistake. First visit: oil leak—$600. a day later, I drive to Shakopee and my oil pressure drops. I open the hood and find a pool of oil on top of my motor, Turns out a screw “vanished,” creating a new leak.
