You get what you pay for. What I paid for was a rookie barber who just got his license to take off way too much off the back, work on me while impaired by the sound and smell of it, and a haircut that looked nothing like the reference photos I showed him and the haircut we discussed. I should have known things were going wrong with how often he would “adjust” things he already cut, how nervous he started to look about halfway through the cut, and by how much hair he was taking off.
