This is a bagel store that I have been going to for the last 20 years. The issue that occurred today, my son who is a college graduate and speaks perfect English calls to place an order. When I went to pick up the order, the order was wrong and the tall Indian man with the beard proceeded to say that he did not understand the order but made me pay for the incorrect order and the new order. Still the best bagels in this part of town, with good prices. They do charge weird credit card fees that are not displayed properly. Prices are also inconsistent.
I live nearby and this used to be my go to. The last time I was there with my two young kids the server was very rude, and at one point threw down the bag of bagels because I asked for a separate bag for plain bagels. I told the cashier (who I had seen many times before), and like someone else here mentioned he didn't seem to care and just rushed me out. Very disappointing and won't be back.
Toasted egg everything bagel with lox spread. Bagels used to be fresh and doughy. The bagels recently taste stale and bland. Prices insane and service horrible. Counter person more interested in his phone than his customers.
