Dr. Dvir took excellent care of my mother. She was told by several Dr.s that they were unable to help her and the TAVR procedure was too risky for her. Dr. Dvir took her case and with that took my family under his wing. Dr. Dvir treated my mother AND US with the utmost respect and care. He seemed to truly treat us as family. He took all the time we needed to talk to us before, during and after the procedures. My mother's procedure was successful but there was an incidental finding that needed to be addressed. I was accompanying my brother to his cardiology appointment. First an EKG was ordered and I had to object when the technician said she felt a cold coming on. My brother is immunosuppressed so I requested another technician to do the EKG. After Dr. Dvir introduced himself he proceeded to ask my brother why he was there. My brother and I explained it was either a follow-up from a recent episode of pericarditis or as a pre-stem cell transplant exam but we hadn't been informed about the reason.
