Deck reconstruction is more than just laying attractive boards. Danny and his crew know decks and where to look for weaknesses. Levels were used extensively to ensure the achievement of a level surface. Importantly, the crew noticed a sagging of the deck at one corner of the house. A header board attached to the house and to which joists are attached had split in two. The deck had to be elevated about 1.5 inches to restore a level surface. Knowledgeable craftsmen make for an excellent deck!
Timely, professional and extremely communicative. Danny was transparent every step of the process and his team did a great job making my deck look new. Extremely happy with their work and would high recommend to all!
In my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Danny Decks. We initially received an estimate of $21,000 for our deck project. He provided this estimate by reviewing detailed pictures, drawings and measurements. These pictures included the area to be demolished and cleared out (including a small tree, rocks and dirt). I specifically asked for an on-site visit to ensure everything was properly accounted for in the proposal and there would be no surprise "extra" charges.
