First class food in Forest Hills Friendly staff and a comfortable environment are required for a good restaurant experience. At Danny Brown's Wine Bar and Kitchen, they excel at both.But the food is the real star. I never order chicken in a restaurant, but here, you MUST try the organic chicken under a brick. It is the juiciest chicken I have ever eaten. I've eaten it at least ten times. The rest of the menu is great too. Great burger and WOW the fries. Flank steak and bruschetta. My friend and I chose this very visually appealling restaurant in Forest Hills. The waiter was clearly new and not familiar with the menu, so we chose classics. I ordered the salmon tartare and the grilled calamari. The flavors on both were so bad, we only ate half of one of the two dishes. I could not even figure out what they were trying to do with the calamari. It was not edible...I mean I eat calamari even when they send it overcooked like rubber.
