Dr. Blake is an exemplary physician. I had found her for a minor throat issue I was having, and I felt good about her right away. When my 82-year-old father was in pain for months without results from other doctors, I sent him to Dr. Blake. He instantly felt comfortable with her and she performed sinus surgery on him. My first two visits were great. The doctor found my medical issue and prescribed medicine to treat it. When I mentioned a second problem, she didn't seem interested. She didn't order the best test for my problem. The test I took didn't show any major issue, according to her, other than a minor problem that older people get. (I know a lot of older people and nobody has this problem!) The person who gave me the test suggested further testing, but the doctor poohed-poohed it. We were referred to Dr Blake after four ear infections in four months, and she was wonderful. My 15 month old loves all people, and she was great with him (though that isn’t hard to do for him), but she was exactly the doctor I needed as an anxious mama! She was so calm, reassuring, and genuinely caring.
