He has done replacements for me and the surgery’s were top knotch. He really cares about his patients. I’ve recommended him many times to people who were looking for a doctor that really cares about his patients and he had always been at the top of my list.
Dr. Woods is a excellent, skilled surgeon. After years of painful walking he preformed my total hip replacement. In three weeks time I was off all walking assistance devices. It true has changed my life. The brochure he gives to his patients well before surgery is complete with all information you need leaving no question I answered. Not only would I recommend him but I am returning to him to take over the care of my knees.
Dr Woods led me to have utmost confidence prior to hip replacement surgery. He explained both need and procedure thoroughly. I never felt rushed during office visits. His assistant Carlina was knowledgeable, available and helpful with any and all questions from me. Procedure at French hospital went flawlessly. Dr. Daniel Woods is a great surgeon, but also a very kind and caring person. He was my surgeon replacing both my hips, two months apart. Both surgeries went well and he visited me promptly in the hospital first thing the next morning. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Woods, Adam, his P.A., and his office staff were extremely professional and responsive. I recommended Dr. Woods without hesitation to a man I had just met and his surgery also went very well.
Dr. Woods did my knee replacement. My physical therapist, after examining the incision, testing my strength and range of motion said "you had an excellent surgeon." Totally agree. Dr. Woods gives you a 40 page manual explaining everything from when and if to have the surgery to post op recovery, basically step by step what to expect. Dr. Woods is the most efficient doctor I have ever experienced. He provided an extensive manual explaining everything about the surgery, pre through post, providing areas for appointments and meds, etc. His concern is patient, pain level and perfection of surgery. I totally recommend him!!!
Just returned from my full hip replacement 3 week post-op appointment with Dr. Woods. After years of painful walking/limping I am easily walking over a mile daily, sometimes twice a day. Stopped using the walker after two days and only occasionally used a cane over the first week. I am thrilled beyond belief with the success of my hip replacement. I had my left hip replaced in September of 2018. my experience with Dr. Woods was excellent. I would highly recommend him. a couple of things I would recommend are: schedule your physical therapy as soon as you know your surgery date. I tried scheduling after my surgery and 3 places said it would take 3 weeks. ARC in Templeton fit me into their schedule and they were great. I had a total hip replacement. Dr. Woods did such a good job that I hardly had any pain. Because of that, I did not need any opioids; I just relied on an anti-inflammatory and an over-the-counter pain reliever. After discharge from the hospital, I went straight home and was able to ascend and descend 2 flights of stairs immediately. I was able to walk without the aid of a walker or a cane after 2 weeks.
