Really helpful, takes the time to fully listen to his patients, answer their questions and give them full attention, also patients can call and leave messages if they have a question for the doctor and he will call back with an answer no charge (this is for quick time sensitive questions relating to the treatment). DR.DANIEL ROSENTHAL IS IN A CLASS BY HIMSELF! He is the first psychiatrist to ask me for my bloodwork results, EVER! He actually returns patient phone calls, his depth and breadth of knowledge is unparalleled., He is tuned into a patient’s needs and an expert listener.. DR. ROSENTHAL IS SIMPLY: THE BEST!!!!!

Dr. Rosenthal is the very best physician and psychiatrist I know! Truly a privilege to have worked with him.
He put my daughter on steadily increasing dosages of lithium over several years and never ordered bloodwork to track the lithium level. She had to be hospitalized to treat lithium poisoning, which could have been fatal. Fortunately we got her to a better qualified psychiatrist. I cannot recommend a physician this careless or dismissive.
