Dr. Buchan has a nice bedside manner, but if you have a mallet finger injury go somewhere else. Mallet finger needs a splint that that will hyperextend the tip of the finger. His splints are generic and can be be found on Amazon. In fact if the one he gives you doesn't fit he says, "you can find another on Amazon." After 10 weeks my finger wasn't healed so I found another hand specialist who made a splint for my finger, not a generic one. I can't recommend Dr. Buchan if you have a mallet finger
Dr.Buchan, Did surgery on my daughter we are so pleased with him and his confidence in his patience recovery. Very kind man would definitely recommend him if you need a broken wrist repair. Thanks the Halves family
