Great atmosphere. Good food.
Let's cut to the chase...we did takeaway: Whose idea was to put FRIED CRISPY Irish Rolls on a bed of salad greens and grape tomatoes with soggy, mayonnaise dressing???! The Irish Eggs Rolls were mushy with coagulated mayonnaise from the heat of the rolls. See my photos. Next, Shepard's Pie(really Cottage Pie with hamburger): greasy ground beef. No thanks. Use Lamb...and not ground. On the flip side, the Corned Beef & Cabbage was very good with the Parsley creme sauce on the side.
This is a great space, almost labyrinthine. It was busy but there was room, a good atmosphere but not too loud. Food was great and the service friendly and attentive. Great!
We went for lunch on Monday. Two of us. Colin brought water and menu's. We ordered right away. The food came but we had to ask for knives and forks after the food arrived. Then I had to go to the bar and ask if they had salt, pepper and vinegar. Not once did we get asked if we wanted a drink from the bar, I would have enjoyed a cider with my lunch. Food ok, service awful.
